1. Overview

Slienode ("Slienode," "we," "our," or "us") operates the Slienode sales and marketing platform at slienode.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and delete personal information when you or your organization use Slienode.

For customer CRM and messaging data you upload or sync into Slienode, you are the data controller and we act as a data processor on your instructions. For account, billing, and product analytics data about you as a Slienode customer, we act as a controller.

2. Information we collect

Account & billing

  • Name, email address, phone number, company name, and login credentials.
  • Billing details and payment metadata processed by our payment providers (e.g. Razorpay).
  • Workspace settings, team seats, and role permissions.

Customer / CRM data you provide

  • Contacts, leads, deals, notes, tags, and pipeline stages.
  • Message content and metadata across WhatsApp, email, SMS, and social channels you connect.
  • Calendar events, forms, funnels, and automation configurations.

Technical & usage data

  • IP address, device/browser type, timestamps, and approximate location derived from IP.
  • Product usage logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

3. Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) Platform Data

When you connect Meta products to Slienode, we may receive Platform Data authorized by you through Meta's OAuth / Embedded Signup flows, including:

  • WhatsApp Business Cloud API — business phone number IDs, WABA IDs, message templates, inbound/outbound message content and delivery status webhooks, and media needed to operate messaging.
  • Facebook Pages & Lead Ads — Page identity, lead form submissions, and related webhook payloads you authorize.
  • Instagram messaging — conversation content and metadata for connected professional accounts you authorize.

We use Meta Platform Data only to provide the Service features you enable (inbox, CRM sync, automations, analytics for your workspace). We do not sell Meta Platform Data, use it to build advertising profiles unrelated to your use of Slienode, or transfer it to unrelated third parties except as processors needed to run the Service.

Use of Meta APIs is subject to Meta's Platform Terms, Developer Policies, WhatsApp Business Policy, and WhatsApp Commerce Policy. You remain responsible for lawful processing of your end-customers' data under applicable privacy laws.

4. Google user data (Limited Use)

If you connect Google (for example Google Calendar or Google OAuth sign-in), Slienode may access Google user data you authorize, such as:

  • Basic profile information (name, email) for authentication.
  • Calendar availability and event create/update data needed to book and manage meetings in Slienode.

Slienode's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the Service.
  • We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, or for unrelated AI/ML training that is not part of providing the connected features.
  • We do not sell Google user data or transfer it to third parties except as necessary processors under our instructions, or with your consent, or as required by law.
  • Human access to Google user data is limited to cases such as security/abuse investigation, compliance with law, or with your explicit consent, or when required for you to receive requested support.

5. How we use information

  • Provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service.
  • Authenticate users and manage workspaces, roles, and billing.
  • Send and receive messages, sync leads, book meetings, and run automations you configure.
  • Process optional AI features you enable (e.g. suggested replies) on content you supply.
  • Send service notices, security alerts, and support responses.
  • Comply with law, enforce terms, and prevent fraud or abuse.

6. Sharing & subprocessors

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

  • Infrastructure & product processors (hosting, databases, email delivery, AI providers you enable) under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Meta, Google, and other integrations you connect, solely to perform the functions you authorize.
  • Payment providers to process subscriptions and wallet top-ups.
  • Legal / safety when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service.

If you use Agency / white-label features, your agency may administer workspace settings; end-customer CRM data remains under the relevant business controller's instructions.

7. Data retention

We retain account and CRM data for as long as your workspace remains active and as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion or a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize personal data from active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax/billing records) or needed for dispute resolution and security logs for a limited period.

Message and media retention on Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API is also governed by Meta's own retention practices (typically short-lived on Meta infrastructure). Data stored in Slienode for your CRM/inbox is controlled by your deletion and retention choices in the Service.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest where supported by our infrastructure, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we continuously improve controls appropriate to the nature of the Service.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete personal information, and to object to certain processing. Workspace admins can manage most CRM data directly in the dashboard.

To exercise rights regarding your Slienode account data, email contact@Slienode.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

10. How to request deletion of your data

Meta and Google require that we provide clear instructions for users to request deletion of their data. You can delete your Slienode account and associated Platform Data as follows:

  1. In-app (recommended):Log in → Settings → Security & Data → Danger Zone → Delete Account & All Data, then confirm via email.
  2. By email: Send a request from your account email to contact@Slienode.com with subject line "Data Deletion Request".

Full step-by-step instructions (including Meta and Google token revocation) are published at: https://slienode.com/data-deletion.

After verification, we delete Platform Data and account data from our active systems within 30 days, unless a legal exception applies.

11. Children's privacy

Slienode is a business service and is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
