1. Introduction
Welcome to Slienode ("we", "our", or "us"). Slienode is a CRM and marketing automation platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, including when you connect third-party services such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp through our integrations.
By using Slienode, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Email address and password when you register.
- Business Information: Business name, address, contact details you provide.
- CRM Data: Contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, and lead information that you or your connected integrations (e.g., Facebook Lead Ads) add to the platform.
- Facebook / Meta Data: When you connect your Facebook Page or Instagram account, we receive your Page access token, Page ID, and lead data from your Lead Ad forms. We only access data you explicitly authorize during the OAuth connection flow.
- Usage Data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited on our platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Slienode CRM platform.
- Automatically capture leads from your connected Facebook Lead Ad forms.
- Send WhatsApp messages on your behalf using your configured WhatsApp Business account.
- Generate AI-powered social media content for your business.
- Display analytics and reports about your leads and campaigns.
- Send you important account notifications and updates.
- Improve and develop new features for our platform.
4. Facebook and Meta Platform Data
Slienode uses the Meta (Facebook) Platform APIs to enable lead capture from Facebook Lead Ads. Specifically:
- We use OAuth 2.0 to connect your Facebook Page with your Slienode workspace.
- We store your Facebook Page Access Token securely in our encrypted database to retrieve lead data on your behalf.
- We receive Webhook notifications from Meta when a new lead submits your Lead Ad form, and automatically save that lead into your CRM.
- We do not sell, share, or use your Facebook data for advertising or any purpose outside of providing the Slienode service to you.
- You may disconnect your Facebook Page at any time from the Settings → Integrations page, which will delete your stored Page Token.
Our use of Facebook Platform data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and the Meta Privacy Policy.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in these circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use MongoDB Atlas (database), Render (server hosting), and Vercel (frontend hosting) to operate our platform. These providers only process data as instructed by us.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Slienode, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfer: If Slienode is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and CRM data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted database connections (TLS/SSL), JWT-based authentication, and hashed passwords using bcrypt. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal data.
- Request deletion of your personal data.
- Disconnect any third-party integrations (Facebook, WhatsApp) at any time.
- Export your CRM data.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email below.

10. Children's Privacy
Slienode is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
